Don't let it bring you down.

It doesn't matter where you are right now, the main topic of the moment is the world's economic crisis.

A few days ago, while attending a seminar about innovation, the presenter made his point showing the crisis from another perspective, where people see it as an opportunity, a good time to innovate, to create, to change, to grow.

Even though the word "crisis" is usually not associated to good stuff, if we think twice about it we can find a lot of positivity in there. Just like these...

"In the best of times, our days are numbered anyway. So it would be a crime against nature for any generation to take the world crisis so solemnly, that it put off enjoying those things for which we were designed in the 1st place: the opportunity to do good work, to enjoy friends, to fall in love, to hit a ball, and to bounce a baby." Alistair Cooke, American, journalist and commentator.

The Chinese use two brush strokes to write the word 'crisis'. One brush stroke stands for danger; the other for opportunity. In a crisis, be aware of the danger - but recognize the opportunity. Richard M. Nixon, American 37th US President.
